One Visit Porcelain Crowns - Most dental restorative methods require more than one visit to the dentist. This means that on the first visit, you get an injection of anesthesia, your tooth prepared, an impression taken, and a temporary restoration put on your tooth. You make a second appointment for a couple of weeks later, get another injection, have the temporary pried off (if it hasn't fallen off already), and have a permanent restoration put on. Bonded White Fillings - The verdict is still out regarding silver amalgam/mercury fillings being hazardous to your health. We take the guess work out of it and do not use the filling material in our office. We like composite/resin fillings for their natural appearance and the near perfect color match we can get. Composite fillings also bond better to your teeth, helping to restore your tooth’s natural strength. Dentures / Partials – If you are missing some or all of your natural teeth, you can obtain many benefits from replacing them with either full or partial dentures. Dentures/partials help fill out your smile by giving support to cheeks and lips. They also aid with speaking, chewing swallowing and smiling. Whitening Services - For your convenience Finger Lakes Dental Care now offers 2 types of Whitening Systems. One hour In-office whitening (as seen on Extreme Makeover), or custom take home whitening kits. Our take home whitening kits yield far superior results when compared to over the counter, store bought whitening kits. These custom kits are normally $250, but for patients of Finger Lakes Dental Care we offer them for only $99. Extractions – Dr. Tanoory has had advanced training that enables him to do all types of extractions including surgical extractions of wisdom teeth (even if they are impacted). These extractions can be done using sedation if you request. Permanent Bridges - Do you need to replace missing teeth? Or are you tired of your removable partial dentures?
